Brain Break

Hi everyone, Marissa here!

Today I decided to take a short walk on an easy trail, just to get out. Work has been hectic and with the start of my Spring semester in graduate school, my life has gotten very regimented and busy! So today I took a nice, easy walk with my younger sisters and my dog. It was a simple way to get outside and release a little bit of stress.

Looking out off the trail, I was struck by the beauty of the Saddleback Mountains. You don’t have to go on long treks or summit mountains to be able to see the beauty of nature… although those are fun too!

Bottom line is, take some time to get back outside to take a little break from the craziness of life. Even a 30 minute walk can leave you feeling much better!
